[service/rates]

I ask that you pay half up front and half upon completion.  I adhere to this policy to make sure we keep a trusting relationship between us. 

I accept cash or can also take payment through Venmo or PayPal.  In some cases I may accept a few payments to reach your full payment but we would need to discuss that and agree upon conditions before beginning.  Recording will not begin until there is cash in hand or confirmation of deposit through PayPal or otherwise.   Final renders of audio or video work will not be sent until final payment is made.

 

[start/end time policy]

Since I charge by the song I just ask that you are prepared to record and ready to lay down your music.  I would rather not sit and watch you try to write something while I wait to record.  Bands/Individuals need to be prepared to record and ready to work once they get to the studio.  I reserve the right to end a session if I feel it is becoming a waste of time.  When only tracking drums or only tracking vocals, one song equates to a 4 hour block maximum.

 

[leaving behind gear]

If there is any gear left behind in my studio I will do my best to keep it secure and safe till it is picked up.  However, I am not responsible for any damage, theft or other to your equipment when left behind.  If it is here for more than a year without effort to pick it up, I will consider it mine.

 

[musical taste policy]

I reserve the right to refuse recording due to musical taste preference or if I feel like I will not be able to successfully help you complete your project.  In these cases money would be refunded.  This has never happened, but it needs to be said!

 

[studio downtime/failure policy]

If the studio should suffer any failure due to forces of nature or otherwise I agree to reschedule studio time with you at an agreeable time for both parties.

If the recording system should fail during your session you will receive equivalent free time to make up for this.

[damage to gear]

If you or anyone you bring to my studio causes damage to my property due to negligence, you will be charged for replacing it and recording will not continue unless otherwise discussed.

[friends & family policy]

I'm pretty laid back and don't mind a few extra people around that may want to be a part of your sessions, all I ask is that they stay respectful of the studio and the equipment.  I reserve the right to refuse any person access to my studio.
